Great National Ballykisteen Golf Hotel

A fabulous place within walking distance of Tipperary Race Course and a short drive to Tipperary Town and the beautiful Glen of Aherlow . We booked for 2 Adults and 2 Children in a family room which was very spacious with 2 huge double beds ( if the children need separate beds request this ) we also booked 2 double rooms and both very good with lots of room . Dinner in the hotel had great choices and the portions are big ! Breakfast was buffet style with everything you could want . The staff were so helpful and friendly and I would recommend this hotel .

I really enjoyed my stay at the Great national Ballykisteen golf and spa hotel. From my check in to check out I was treated with the utmost professionalism. I would like to congratulate all the staff and management for their keen attention to detail. The thermal suite and pool facilities were exceptional.The dining experience had a wide variety of choices available to suit all tastes. I would highly recommend the Ballykisteen hotel and I would like to thank everyone for the kindness they showed towards me. I will certainly return again in the future. Kind regards Brid.

The property was in a good location and easily accessible, The room was overlooking the golf course which was nice, and a good size with a bath/shower and provided complementary toiletries, The staff from check in to check out were very friendly and always helpful, The breakfast was very good also with a buffet style cold food selection and you can also pick hot food served by a member of staff plus you can order hot food from a small selection cooked to order, The only problem I have seen with this hotel was that breakfast and dinner in the bar could be very slow at times even though there was plenty of staff to deal with customers requesting food and drinks, I would definitely recommend and will stay in this hotel again.

Gym staff were very helpful and friendly. Billy organised a packed lunch for our party, and it was all very nice. I liked the bedroom, it was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was nice and a very good selection.

For our purposes the location just outside Tipperary town on the Limerick road was excellent, allowing us to visit family and friends and then move on to the next stage of our journey. The breakfast was good value and service in the bar was friendly and efficient. The pool allowed for a moderately good swim. The staff were friendly and the young members of serving staff were clearly doing their best.
